Serving Chesterfield County from Two Convenient Locations

Manchester Volunteer Rescue Squad proudly serves the citizens of Chesterfield County alongside the career Chesterfield County Fire & EMS Department. Our members respond to 911 calls for Emergency Medical Services, working hand-in-hand with CFEMS to ensure rapid and effective care. Operating from Station 1 at 3500 Courthouse Road and Station 2 at 7810 Winterpock Road, we are equipped with some of the most advanced EMS technology and emergency vehicles in the area. Our team receives high-quality training to provide safe, efficient responses and patient transport, keeping our community protected and supported at all times.

An ambulance is parked outside the Manchester Volunteer Rescue Squad building, with an American flag flying on a pole in front. The sky is clear with the sun setting behind the building and some trees in the background.

Our Fleet

Manchester Volunteer Rescue Squad equips its vehicles with HAAS Alert, a connected safety cloud designed for Fire and EMS fleets. This technology helps reduce the risk of collisions by alerting nearby drivers when emergency vehicles are responding to calls, keeping both first responders and the community safer on the road.
